One of our new favorite spots! We have now been 3 times in the last month it's been that good. For starters make sure you get either the Brussel Sprouts, Popcorn Shrimp, or BBQ Pork Nachos. I highly recommend the fish and chips for entrees, if you're splitting it with someone you should definitely ask them to split it for you in the back. Also make sure you order it with a side of ranch. Their homemade ranch pairs perfectly with the fries and fish. The Steak Frites for an entree is also a fantastic choice, I had mine cooked medium rare and it came out perfect. We ended up getting the Jessica as our waitress 2 of the 3 times we went and on the second time she remembered our entire order, so we definitely recommend you ask for her if you're going! The only thing to keep in mind is that it is a loud room and once you mix live music in with the loudness you might be yelling across the table! Definitely coming back soon!
Drinks for some dropouts !! Tried the Tempe location which was so good here I also had the fish and chips lol I couldn't help it I wanted to test their consistency so that I am glad to report that food was bussin lol Mike had the Salmon and he raved it was delicious!! Drinks were of course delicious here Mike had what IPA umm Church Music and I had screwed up? Lol that's definitely not the correct drink name and I am giving my best guess lol Either way it was so good!! Service was great this location held it up for sure.
I am out and about today going on interviews and I decided in between to stop at this little spot for some lunch. Parking was pretty decent. Easy to get to. Very clean. the atmosphere is just elegantly comfortable. I chose to sit at the bar today and I had their delicious hot wings from the appetizer menu. I also had a Paloma spritzer which was phenomenal. Culinary dropout is kind of posh posh and believe it or not, I loved it because I deserve that kind of atmosphere. If you're in Tempe, give them a try. I definitely give them a thumbs up.
This is my second time at culinary dropout, I had a pleasant time my first time around although I can't remember what I got. We came in at around 10 pm, so we decided to just do some appetizer and drinks. We ordered three appetizers among the four of us and we were stuffed. The evil jungle princess was really good, right amount of strong and sweet. We got the salmon dip which I really liked. I love anything salmon in most situations. The nachos were ginormous, my only disappointment was there was as much bbq pork belly as much as the chips but that's always the case. The pork belly was nice down, every top on the nachos were great. The hot wings were hot, I have had hot wings and this doesn't compare but they were still decent. Great service and atmosphere, we missed the band playing. Looks like they have live entertainment especially on the weekend. Definitely be back next time.
I've been served twice now by Sydney A., and she really does an amazing job. She's very attentive and recommended me a drink that I really enjoyed. If you get the chance to stop in, the food is great, with a cool, modern atmosphere.
I have been to this place multiple times and many of its locations in the valley, sometimes with large groups of co-workers while other times with a smaller group of friends. Since the Tempe location has the showroom attached to the restaurant, it is a great location to host parties, happy hour events with colleagues, or even more formal presentations for work. They have great options for appetizers as well as entrees. In addition, the drink menu was exciting too. One of my favorites was their onion ring, which was freshly made and tasted delicious. I also liked their pulled pork nachos, which was a huge portion with loads of flavors. My friends and I liked their Japanese-style fried pork chop sandwich, although occasionally the sauce could be a bit too sweet. Although it sounds simple, their house chips with a cheese queso dip were bomb. I'd want to go back just for that! One thing my friends and I liked was their Christmas-themed bar. We had their special shots and some holiday cocktails. It was great to go with a small group of people (like two people max) because it was way easier to find seats and have our drinks delivered in time. We did not really have a good time when we went the first two times since we had a much larger group of people. In the Tempe location, the patio is dog friendly, and you can access their side door in the yard if you don't want to walk your puppy through the front portion of the restaurant (where a lot of people wait in line and sit at tables). People here seem to be dog lovers here ;)
